For sound effects, all of the sounds are downloaded from Epidemic Sound, which has a large library of sound effects available. Even though some sounds aren’t exact matches, I was able to find substitutes for them.
Below is the timelapse of me compiling all the sounds together. Towards the end, the software got laggy, and the screen froze every 5 seconds. I suspect it is a problem with my workflow. I should not lump all the shots together; I should make the sounds separately based on the shots. Initially I wanted to use Davinci Resolve’s native sound editor but I realise not all footage was inside the editor so I switched back using Audition.
